In addition to being a VRML Web browser, blaxxun Contact supports shared
multi-user worlds. Note that the VRML97 specification DOES NOT define
how developers should created shared multi-user worlds -- this is an
enhancement that blaxxun added to its Contact browser. Note, also, that
Contact alone doesn't give you multi-user support: a "multi-user" server
must also be used.



Web3D Chat (http://Web3DChat.com) is a shared multi-user world that is built
using blaxxun's own server technology.

CONSUMES A *LOT* OF COMPUTING POWER AND RAM -- TO AVOID OVERTAXING YOUR

Visit Web3D Chat and come find me. I'll be waiting in one of the many
Web3D Chat worlds, so you'll have to use the floating sphere portals
to jump from world to world in order to find the one I'm in. Here's 
how:



1) Visit http://Web3DChat.com and click on the "Socialize" link.
   If your computer is not very fast you should NOT socialize in
   full screen mode (use normal browser window mode instead, and 
   resize your browser window so that it's small -- a smaller area
   to render takes less computing power, and is better for slower
   computers).

2) Once you enter the main world you should set your Avatar and voice. 
   If you are not sure how to do this use the text chat to ask one of 
   your fellow students.

3) Enter the main world and look for me in that world. If I am not there
   you'll have to use the floating sphere portals to go into a new world 
   to continue your search (click on a floating portal to enter that world).
   If you are not sure how to do this use the text chat to ask one of your
   fellow students.
